Lucy Revill is an award-winning content creator, who has written the blog ‘The Residents’ since 2015.
Her blog is ranked as the third most popular lifestyle blog in New Zealand and was a finalist in the 2017 Social Media Awards in the ‘Social Good’ category. Lucy was nominated for Young New Zealander of the Year and Local Hero of the Year in 2017, and that same year won an Absolutely Positively Wellingtonian Award for her work compiling the many unique stories about the everyday people from her hometown of Wellington and sharing them here, online.
She’s been featured by the New Zealand Herald, Radio New Zealand, the Dominion Post, North & South and was on the March 2017 cover of Wellington Woman Magazine. In 2018, Lucy founded ‘Soap For Society’ in conjunction with Wellington City Mission to raise awareness of hygiene poverty in New Zealand.
Lucy has collaborated with brands such as Estée Lauder, Allbirds, the Interislander and Samsung. She enjoys walks in the Wellington hills, having coffee near Cuba Street, sourcing ethical fashion and eating at the cafes and restaurants always popping up around town with her handsome ginger partner-in-crime, and occasional photographer, Matt.
